It is with great pleasure and gratitude that we now recognize the contribution of the teachings of The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking brought to us from The Beloved Community's Seminary Program. At present Rev. C is in the process of coaching 8 new Seminary Students through this program which will include a formal Ordination in August resulting in a wonderful contingent of new Peace Ministers. Participation in this program leads to profound internal shifts for all participants involved including the coach! We are all being called to reach new levels of spiritual maturity in order to truly assist with the dramatic energy changes our little blue planet is undertaking. With peace and reverence we now extend bi-weekly "experiential worship" services titled Practice the Presence of God. All naturally, are welcome!

Peacemaking an Economic Paradigm

Spiritual peacemaking is an inside out job in that each one of us is solely responsible for finding the Peace that exists deep within even the most chaotic circumstances of life. Many of us are aware that bringing peace to old belief systems, old ways of doing things can be very challenging indeed.
My intention this past year was to focus on and reveal the sincere gratitude and appreciation I knew was hidden within our North American system of monetary exchange by opening a Spiritual Education facility disguised as a small business in the downtown core of a small Southern Ontario town. On the outside we look like any average storefront, complete with appropriate signage, windows for visibility, and accessibility. On the inside however, we are very different. We are all about Peace.
One year ago a core group of dedicated individuals gathered together to create a powerful energy vortex based on the teachings of “The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking”, a book by James Twyman. Then we set our intention to only attract money that was given with the energy of gratitude or appreciation. We offered much needed support systems during times of personal transition, a safe space for people to gather, to learn, to celebrate, or to worship. Most of our programs and services were offered on a donation basis.
We set to work building collaborative relationships with local holistic practitioners, healers, artists, and spiritual teachers with the objective of promoting one anothers' services. Truly accepting and embracing all healing methods as valid while working with practitioners to encourage the highest levels of integrity. We know that each teacher has their own audience, their own resonance pattern through which the message of peace and wellness can be heard.
To some it seemed as though we were giving away our business, but we knew that our generosity flowed from the principle of “give everything to everything”, and the deeper knowing that we were only giving to Ourselves. This facility turned “Sanctuary of Peace”, was called into Being by the prayers of the people. We literally felt their desire to return to a spiritual community based on inclusion rather than exclusion, so month after month we held fast to our “YES”, keeping trust and faith were our guides.
We were challenged by a fear based opposition, skeptical visitors, and an impending economic crisis. Even so, we continued to hold ourselves firmly in the place of “Being in this world, but not of it.”
Our success speaks for itself. Our numbers are growing, our practitioners are thriving, and our network is expanding. We continue to exemplify the teachings of the “Art of Spiritual Peacemaking” by holding the sacred space, speaking openly and easily about generosity and abundance, while being ready and available to serve the diverse spiritual needs of the community. We operate in true collaboration rather than a competition mindset, serving everyone equally regardless of their ability to pay.
We coined the phrase “gratitude tithing”, such that by only receiving funds that are offered in true gratitude, we help keep the energy of monetary exchange pure. In trusting that the funds we need to continue will arrive in some form, we patiently hold the intention to help shift everyone into prosperity.
As Spiritual Peacemakers it is our responsibility to lead the way especially in the face of uncertainty, to trust and to hold firm to the vision of Peace and natural prosperity.
In turn, we must hold the feelings of gratitude in our hearts, talk about what we are doing, and model the behaviour of clear intention and integrity. As Ghandi said; “We must Be the change we wish to see in the world.”
Our motto and mission statement: Peace Prevails Now. Give everything to everything. Be open to receive, and just keep saying “YES”!
NEWS - November 1, 2008 - Our Phenomenal First Year!
Well Gentlebeings, this month marks The Reiki Centre's first year of operation and to say that it has been a success would be an understatement. We have generated an email contact list of over 200 names, experienced overwhelming attendance rates for most of our events, networked dozens of healing facilitators of all kinds, as well as expanding our range of curriculum, workshops, and study groups.
Private practices have thrived and we are thrilled to be holding the Sacred Space for 8 new Beloved Community Seminary students who upon graduation will be ordained as Ministers of Peace.
Often we have reflected upon our future need for our physical location to expand, and though we know that ultimately we will outgrow our current facility, for now it feels right to simply continue to generate a deeper and more solid Presence. In this way, The Reiki Centre will continue be a beacon of Light, a resonance of Peace, and a warm and welcome place to gather and share our splendid spiritual journey.
That being said, we don't intend to rest on our laurels. We have some wonderful and fun ideas in store for the next few months designed to help fellow travellers integrate the fast moving energies of our time. So, please join us in celebration during the month of November as we continue to provide insightful, educational opportunities for all ages!

Gentlebeings, a letter of gratitude and recognition
As the summer winds down and the call back to school is upon us, we at The Reiki
Centre find ourselves in our 10th month of successful operation.
I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to this endeavor, whether in a
large way or what might seem small. (toilet paper is such a welcome blessing!)
Every day we are blessed by visitors who seek answers or those gentle souls
whose intent is to serve gifting us with their insights and valuable
participation. As we continue to maintain the highest level of integrity
possible we are also conscious of the need to remain open and inviting for
those just starting out on this fast paced spiritual journey.
The dreams and prayers of The Many are manifested daily through the physical
presence and Sanctuary of Peace offered by The Reiki Centre. It is our dream to
serve as many people as possible, to continue to offer a place of acceptance and
guidance through this incredibly transformational time on our little blue
planet.
So, with much gratitude and appreciation we thank you ALL, for your time,
interest, participation, and generous donations without which we could not
continue. We are here to serve; to be a constant reminder of the Oneness Story,
to help heal the wounds of pain and suffering caused by separation and
attachment, to stand as a place of remembering, a place to gather and to share
spiritual insights, wisdom, and stories about Life.

News - August 1, 2008
Wow! Half of the summer is gone already. Normally considered a time of outgoing activity, this summer is proving to also be a very powerful time of introspection; very atypical since we normally "go inside" during the coldest part of our winter months. However, many have reported some amazing transformational experiences particularly since the Summer Solstice back in June. The sun, or Solar Rays are at their peak and are playing havoc one could say, with the old paradigms and egoic structures. A whole lot of the old is being purged by the heat of the Solar Consciousness. It's all good. Here at The Reiki Centre, we've had a steady stream of new people wandering in, some quite uncertain as to "why" they are drawn in. And since our practitioners team has expanded exponentially, we now have a broader range of resonant vibrations to offer these brave souls who have come into "their time".
The Oneness is stirring all of us; moving us into deeper levels of comprehension, which as we all know offers us opportunities to choose better feeling thoughts so we might experience greater levels of Freedom, Joy, and Growth.
Stay connected through all of this. The Community that is The Reiki Centre is here to support all processes, as many of our members have similar stories to share from their own Spiritual Travels.

Hang onto your hats everyone! The energy of this Solstice is moving lightning fast. Ensure that you are continuing your spiritual practice with particular attention to gathering with like minded people and staying GROUNDED! Our Heaven on Earth is approaching so quickly, it is sometimes tricky to maintain the balance required to transition gracefully, if you follow my meaning!
We would like to extend our most grateful Welcome to our new Reiki Centre Team members; Paul, Kathy, Leslie, Diane, Trina, and Terry. These amazing people will enable us to diversify our resonance with the community as well as offering additional hours we are open. They each bring their unique gifts and talents to our Centre and we look forward to supporting them in their continued "YES". Feel free to just drop by and pay them a visit, sit for a quick meditation moment, or have a cup of tea.
Keep an eye on the website for future offerings of gatherings, reiki shares, and new workshops. The Centre is rapidly growing and we do our best to answer your prayers.

News - May 7, 2008
We are just half way between Equinox and Solstice, and boy is the energy shifting! People everywhere are awakening to their role on this New Earth thanks to Eckhart Tolle and Oprah! Here at The Reiki Centre we are seeing major shifts occurring with our "men". It is truly beautiful to see them relax into who they really want to be. The Divine Feminine Principle of Acceptance has been operating on the sidelines since March, and now she swings into high gear. Personally, I am experiencing a time of deep inner Peace even though my outer world would seem otherwise. These new levels of participation and detachment (or acceptance) are going to make all the difference in manifesting our Heart's Desire in record time!
We are all set for our FREE showing of The Moses Code Film on Saturday May 31 at 7:00 pm at the Adjala-Tosorontio Township Offices. We have room for 150 people (please bring your own chair as there are only 50) so please bring a friend. In order to utilize this space we cannot charge for this event, however donations to the Centre will be graciously accepted. We will have copies of the DVD and book available however.
The power of viewing such an inspirational film with a group in addition to playing with the activation code afterwards is sure to alter some lives. We want to keep the energy flowing. Sometimes we need to hear the message more than once in order to fully integrate the implications!

WOW! Is all I can say...
WE had an amazing turnout for the premier of The Moses Code; clearly the most articulate
spiritual film of our time.
About 100 people attended over the 3 days; 2 showings were sold out; we drew people from
Owen Sound, Collingwood, Newmarket, & Toronto.
Each screening was followed by a very
powerful activation of the Code which left everyone "buzzing"! The Peace Vigil was
attended by some 30 people as we linked with hundreds of thousands of people world wide,
all directing the energy of Peace towards the Old City of Jerusalem with the intention
to awaken not only the destiny of the city many prophets have claimed will some day
initiate peace throughout the world, but each individuals personal destiny as well.
We are organizing a follow up Event approximately 40 days from now (the time it takes for
transformation) and will keep you posted as to the location and specific details. We
expect to attract a minimum of 100 people (both new and returning), so will require a
facility that can hold this volume. If you have connections in this regard, please let me
know!
I can't express enough, my deepest and most sincere GRATITUDE for all those Leading Edge
Souls who donated their time and money towards helping to BE this message of Peace
throughout the world.

Afterthought:
The film's storyline outlines the literal and symbolic journey of Moses first liberating
the Israelites then intending to return the Name of God to the Holy Land (which he never
accomplished). Some 3500 years later, through a literal and virtual Global Event Hug, his
mission was completed. At the same time, the actor who was best known for his role as
MOSES, Charleton Heston, died - thus effectively, himself returning to the holy land. WOW!

We are very excited to announce our participation in the World Wide Release of James Twymans new film; The Moses Code. We will be holding 5 screenings of this amazing Spiritual Cinema throughout the weekend of April 4, 5, & 6. The screening on Sunday will be followed by a Meditation for Peace in conjunction with the World Wide Peace Vigil being organized around the release of this film; directing the healing energy of Peace towards the conflict in the Middle East. We anticipate an enormous shift in global consciousness surrounding this event and as such, it is our pleasure to act as moderators in coordinating this event locally. News - February 12, 2008
February 2nd marked the day The Reiki Centre held it's Grand Opening Ceremony, and it was AWESOME! Indeed! A very special thank you to Laura, for her fine words of wisdom, to Steph and Shannon for their assistance in the kitchen!, and to Janet who's presence is always a calming influence even in the face of such high energy!
We had such a good time with our unique Ribbon Ceremony in which all attendees held a piece of two 15 foot lengths of ribbon while the Sacred Office of Peace was recited (12 peace prayers of the 12 major religions of the world), after which Mayor Mike and Laura proceeded to tie the ribbon into a bow. The following words were spoken:
"As we tie this ribbon, we create a symbolic image of two worlds uniting.
The world of the Earth, of the physical, of feeling, of embodiment,
With the world of spirit, of wholeness, of grace, ... of God!
In this joining, we repair ancient wounds, we heal ancient pain, we
restore our oneness with Self."
Everyone felt the power of this Ceremony. We then carried our bliss on into the afternoon's Meditation for Peace; seating over 20 people of all demographics.
It was truly a day to remember and an amazing validation of things yet to come!

News - January 8, 2008
The Reiki Centre held its first open meditation gathering of the year on January 6 - the day of Epiphany - and to say it was a powerful experience for all is an understatement. Twenty amazing lightworkers representing multiple demographics joined their intentions for Peace, awakening, and wholeness which created an amazing atmosphere of Love and Acceptance.
It was wonderful to see old friends and new faces alike. The perfection of the diversity of personal expression represented the elemental ideals the Centre upholds. So many dreams were dreamt, so many prayers were prayed... this space could not help but come into physical reality.
The year of 2008 represents new beginnings (in numerology it is the number 1) and we here at the Centre can feel the pulse of creation drawing the best of ourselves into full view and Service.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who attended in body and spirit. We felt you all and we look forward to an amazingly prosperous and adventurous 2008!

WOW! - November 22, 2007
That's about all I can say about this process... unbelievable miracle after synchronicity after blessing. The final coming together of the New Reiki Centre - Spiritual Peacemaking Education & Networking Facility was absolutely effortless. When we needed something, it appeared. When we needed a specific skill, the person arrived. When we needed help, many hands made light work. This manifestation is truly an answer to many prayers, and an inspiration to all those who have foreseen this establishment but were hesitant to truly believe in the readiness of the people. They are ready. We are ready. It is time. The golden age is here, now. We need only spread the word. Thank you - 3 times over - to the many Hearts who heard the call and answered with their presence, grace, and humility. Our vortex is nicely established and continues to expand with the Love that abounds; anchored through each Sacred Heart of all who participated, both physically and non-physically. The Sacred Chalice overflows with Divine Grace - drink of it when you are thirsty. I look forward to seeing old friends and new acquaintances in the weeks to come. So much Love is Here for You Now!
