The Reiki Centre

was established to encourage and support the awakening of those people who are seeking answers to some of Life's toughest questions. 

Why am I here?  Who am I?  What is my Purpose?  I know there is something more, but I don't know what it is.  Why am I so sensitive to energy and the environment? How do I find God in all of this?

Some are experiencing the awakening of latent psychic gifts, or seeking to fulfill a deep desire to serve humanity in some capacity.  Some are looking for alternatives to mainstream medicine and wellness for their bodies.  Some are seeking relationships with like minded people.  Some are parents of metaphysically gifted children and wish to understand how to encourage their gifts. Some are seeking Enlightenment, while others are trying to reconcile deep seated hurts with regards to conventional religion. And the list goes on.

The Centre operates on the premise of the Law of Attraction - that which is like unto itself is drawn - and as such draws together an incredibly diverse group of people who hold the common resonance of spiritual curiosity, Self expansion and wholeness, service to God & humanity and the search for Ultimate Love (agape). 

At the core of all major religions, theologies, and mystical teachings is the powerful desire to communicate and perpetuate Peace and Divine Love.  Everyone at some point in their lives seeks Peace; of mind, of emotions, of the body, or of the spirit. Peace then, is a universal desire. 

The Reiki Centre

represents a vortex, or gathering point and as such draws from the core teachings of Peace and Divine Love and holds that Sacred Space as a constant.  This constant acts as a Hub, like that of a wheel and this centrepoint represents the Unity. The spokes then, of individuality and creative expressions of Divine Love,  flow outward from the hub of the wheel.  The spokes are in turn linked by the outer circle of the wheel which represents the diversity.   As the wheel continues to turn, as we look from above, we see that it is actually a spiral, spinning out of the power of the vortex of Divine Love at its core. 

The name of The Reiki Centre then, is derived from the understanding that Reiki IS Love and that DIVINE LOVE is at the centre of all Creation and all Oneness.  It is from the Centre we traveled from, and it is to the Centre we shall return. The journey in the meantime can be one of Peace and Joy.  Reiki is not in itself a religion, since it is not man-made, but rather a very powerful means of finding Peace; of balancing the energy in ones life, to facilitate wholeness through active healing. As an Esoteric component to our faith, Reiki is practiced in order to bring about a greater understanding of God, ourselves, and how both human and Divine are meant to interact.

The word spiritual refers to the interconnectedness of our world.  How all that we perceive around us is energy in motion.  To truly realize this returns us to our innate power as Children of God, and therefore as co-creators; thus we regain control of our lives.

is a community service centered idea whose predecessor was Reiki Healing - Centre for Metaphysical Studies & Spiritual Development.

The Reiki Centre is the Home of The Beloved Community Canada Ministries, a Canadian branch of The Beloved Community Oregon founded by Peace Troubadour James Twyman. A central task of the Beloved Community is to promote the message of Peace that is at the core of all major religions through the activation of the 12 Peace Prayers, the Emissary Wheel, Ancient Mystery School teachings from Jeshua ben Joseph, and practical application.
